Debbie Checks into the Row For Freedom Voicemail
Listen as Skipper Debbie Beadle calls the Row For Freedom voicemail and tells us about the crew’s sea-sickness and recent progress.
The Guardian, being a small ocean-rowing boat, subjects the team to the full rolling motion of the sea.
Seasickness is very common amongst transatlantic rowers, so there’s nothing to worry about at this stage. As long as the girls keep on top of things and stay hydrated, they’ll be fine.
Better still, continuous exposure helps the average person become immune to it over time. Over the next week they should start to feel better.
Better weather is on its way. Click here and listen to Debbie’s voice blog.
We’re really proud of them here at Expedition HQ! Please keep your messages of support coming and we’ll pass them on via the satphone!
